A British man has been arrested after he disappeared with his American daughter during a supervised visit on Christmas Eve in Los Angeles.
Jack Perry, 31, was with his daughter Lucia, two, at The Grove shopping center in LA when the person monitoring them lost sight of the two.
The Los Angeles Police Department immediately set out trying to find Perry, and thanks to a tip were able to apprehend him and Lucia in Palm Springs, 100 miles away, on Monday night.

Charges: Perry, who is in the middle of a divorce with Lucia's mother Elise, was on a supervised visit at the time and disappeared around 5pm
Perry, who lives in Santa Monica, is currently in the middle of a divorce with Lucia's mother, Elise, who the young girl lives with according to KTLA.
It is still not clear why Perry was only allowed supervised visits with his daughters, or if he had plans to flee to England with his daughter.
Police said after the disappearance that Perry came from an affluent family and had access to private jets.

He did not make it that far however, and instead was caught in Palm Springs where he had rented an apartment under a false name.
LAPD Officer Ricardo Hernandez said it was a resident who spotted the two and recognized them, from a community alert flyer that called police.
Perry has now been charged with suspicion of child abduction.
Perry reportedly has a 'minor criminal history', according to the Los Angeles Times and was previously arrested in Los Angeles for driving on a suspended license and in Las Vegas on suspicion of forgery.
