So how can we master them at home without the actual sea?
"My favourite way to create this look is by firstly washing your hair with some volumising shampoo to give your hair body and volume and then scrunching some mousse or sea salt spray into damp hair and leaving to air dry for effortless looking waves," suggests Dylan.
"If your hair doesn’t have a natural texture, you can also recreate this look by using crimping irons or a curling iron or hair straighteners to create soft waves before finishing with a texturising spray to give the waves more of a messy and natural look."
